Paid Time Off
In this section...
Non-exempt hourly partners and exempt Store General Managers use Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacation, personal time and incidental sick days. New hire corporate hourly partners are eligible to earn PTO on the date of hire; all others are eligible at the four-month anniversary.
PTO eligible partners must be paid a minimum of 40 hours or more per biweekly pay period to accrue PTO. Years of service determine your accrual rate; the amount of PTO accrued is calculated based on the number of hours paid in the period, including, but not limited to regular hours, overtime hours, PTO, sick time off, holidays, bereavement, jury duty and voting time off.
For more information, refer to the Paid Time Off Summary Plan Description found on PetNet.
